Why do apostates never go back to the JW's?
by highdose inthis was a question i can remember asking as a child.
i never got a satisfatory answer ( you think that might have set alarum bells ringing but there you are) the answer i got was " apostates belive werid things... they are out to destory your faith!
" which didn't seem to make too much sense.

Some return...but its also true that when someone leaves the truth it never leaves them. They continue to think of the org and Jah for ever :) an elder said that once in his talk, and yer ive seen that its true, but thats a nice thing.

Let the children decide.
by angel eyes inok, im putting my neck on the line here but ive always believed that children should be raised to make their own choice, if to serve jah or not.. i wasnt ever forced to believe in anything, any religion etc, although my background is very complicated.. anyway, hubby and i have always thought that how can a child decide if they dont know what other things are, ie birthday partys, halloween etc.
so, our children are allowed to choose if to go places etc.
last year our little boy said he didnt want to go to a halloween party, this year he said he might.

on the way home from our sons school we did some ministry, it was truly brilliant...sorry but you have helped me Sooooooooooooooo much...im feeling spiritually high...love and hugs to everyone who helped :))
The kids are playing and im so thankful to Jehovah to have them....

hey thanks for the feed back......you have helped to blow away the cobwebs and i can now see as clearly as ever.....thankyou so much. cantleave, you do make me smile :) when i said family study lol that was hubby and I, we study great teacher book at the moment with the kids, they are far too young lol....i clearly should have pointed that out.....you have made me laugh though :)
